One of the “tricks of the trade” In this magazine is image. The image this magazine portrays is that Z-Time is for anybody and it’s a fun experience. Image is when a product is associated with certain people, places, and activities. We put a soccer game on to show a sporty kid, (for example) that this is the blanket for them. The second “trick of the trade” we used was facts. I wrote a small paragraph telling people what the blanket is and how to get it. Facts figures in when advertisers use facts and statistics to enhance their product credibility.

One of the two "Tricks of the Trade" we used for this add was humour/fun/excitment. To show this trick of the trade I had random smiley faces and just silly wierd things on the student Amila's face. The second trick of the trade I used was name calling. For name calling I chose to put down the Snuggie! In the advertisment I stated that the Snuggie is just like a long sweater! The Snuggie just keeps you warm but the Z-Time keeps you warm and entertained!

The 2 tricks of the trade that I used for my magazine ad were repetition and bandwagon. I use repetition by repeating scared or terrified kids in the pictures. For bandwagon I had said that “everyone has it and if you don't well you’re a nobody” .Repetition is when you repeat yourself or show it several times so it would go in your head and you well remember it. Bandwagon is when you say that over “amount” has it so you should get it or saying a “#” that is pretty large so the consumer would want to buy it because everyone else has it.
